Marketplace Model Important

E-TALK is a global, borderless marketplace connecting buyers and independent vendors worldwide.

Vendors are independent sellers who fully manage:

  • Professional packaging & materials
  • Shipping carrier selection & negotiations
  • Customs declarations & documentation
  • Fulfillment timelines & tracking
  • Customer shipping communication

E-TALK does not physically handle shipments. This model allows vendors to operate locally or internationally without borders, leveraging their regional expertise.

Shipping Label Responsibility

Each vendor is responsible for creating and applying:

Official Carrier Label

DHL, UPS, FedEx, local postal service, or preferred regional courier

Vendor Contact Details

Return address & customer service contact information

Important: E-TALK does not mandate a specific courier, allowing vendors to choose the most efficient and cost-effective option for their region and product type.

E-TALK Branding Required

Marketplace Identification (Light Branding)

To maintain trust and customer clarity, all outgoing packages must include E-TALK marketplace identification using any ONE of the following methods:

Printed Logo Sticker

Official E-TALK logo sticker applied to package exterior

Marketplace Slip

Printed E-TALK marketplace slip included inside package

Co-Branded Label

Label showing: Sold on E-TALK, Vendor Name, and Order ID

Critical Requirement: The official carrier shipping label must remain completely unobstructed and fully legible at all times.

Vendor Branding Freedom

Vendors are encouraged to include their own branding elements:

  • Custom store logos and packaging
  • Personalized thank-you cards
  • Promotional inserts or samples
  • Branded tape or seals
  • Custom packing materials

Requirements: Vendor branding must not misrepresent E-TALK or confuse buyers about order fulfillment responsibility.

Local vs Global Shipping

Vendors may operate under either model based on their capabilities:

Global Vendors Worldwide
  • Ship to international destinations
  • Handle customs, duties, export compliance
  • Provide accurate HS codes and declarations
  • Clearly state international delivery timelines
Local Vendors Regional
  • Ship within selected countries/regions only
  • Use domestic couriers and postal services
  • Offer faster fulfillment (where applicable)
  • Leverage regional shipping advantages

Equal Support: E-TALK supports both global and local vendor models equally.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

Vendor Responsibilities

  • Accurate customs declarations
  • Proper HS code classification
  • Export/import compliance
  • Complete documentation

Buyer Responsibilities

Any import duties, taxes, or fees assessed by the destination country

Proof of Shipment & Tracking

Vendors must complete the following within 48 hours of shipment:

  • Mark order as “Shipped” in vendor dashboard
  • Provide valid tracking number (where available)
  • Ensure tracking corresponds to correct order
  • Update shipment status for any delays

Consequences of Non-Compliance:

  • Payment processing delays or holds
  • Reduced visibility in marketplace search
  • Temporary shipping capability suspension
  • Account restriction for repeated violations

Returns & Disputes

  • Returns follow the vendor’s published return policy
  • Vendors manage return shipping and inspections
  • Refunds processed according to vendor terms

E-TALK Marketplace Intervention

E-TALK may intervene only in cases of:

  • Suspected fraud or misrepresentation
  • Non-shipment with proof of payment
  • Significant policy violations
  • Platform abuse or security concerns

E-TALK monitors compliance through automated systems and manual reviews.

Minor Violations

Warning notifications & educational resources

Major Violations

Order suspension & temporary restrictions

Repeat Violations

Permanent account restriction or removal

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to:

  • Support new logistics partnerships and integrations
  • Improve buyer protection and trust mechanisms
  • Align with evolving global trade regulations
  • Incorporate vendor feedback and best practices

Notification: Vendors will receive 30 days’ notice for significant policy changes.
